EXACT STRENGTH FOR THE VERY WEAKNESS!

Recently, I have been reminiscing on how constant the word of God is and how faithful God himself is. This year has been a hell of a year, and there is just no need to go in depth because everyone has felt a touch of the hardness of this year, as well as the sweetness. Yes, I said “sweetness” because as much as we all agree that 2020 has been so tough with series of pains and regrets for many, it has still been a very lovely year. Why do I say this?

It is in a time of chaos, trouble, difficulty, a time when man’s strength and wisdom are exhausted, that God manifests His unexhaustive and limitless power. It is a time when science fails man, when skills, abilities, knowledge, status, wealth, cannot save man; that is when God’s ability is at its peak. So, when we say that this year has really been sweet, we mean that despite the things we've been through, despite our weakness, and I am not just talking about COVID-19, I am talking about personal issues people have faced, either because of COVID-19 or something else entirely. During this weakness, God has manifested his strength to the utmost. It also confirms God’s word in Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever”.

Recently again, I was giving my contribution in a Bible study session about how Jesus is our high priest and I realized that it is he who knows how weak we are that knows how much strength we need. It is because Jesus knows the level of our weakness, that is why He gives us the very strength we need. Sometimes you wonder how you can get up and do the things you do, even when it seems like it is going to be so difficult for you. The One who knows you by your name and bears you in His arms daily, knows how to carry you through.

So, folks, begin to count your blessings as we are going into this new year. Don't be like those who said this should have ended since June, πŸ˜‚ or who said that when they are counting their years in life, they wouldn't count 2020 😏. God knows why 2020 is on the calendar. He knew what 2020 would be and He didn't skip 2020. God is faithful enough to bring us to the 31st and even to the new year. So, as we are going into 2021 brethren, step in with joy, with the understanding that you have enough strength to continue this race. We are not running in vain. He who has called us did not call us to seek Him in vain. Only look to Him and trust Him – the help of your countenance.

 HAVE SUPER-DUPER CHRISTMAS!

  1. Regardless of the tough year, we have a God who keeps us moving. As bad as the year is/was/has been for many people, this is surely my best year since I was birthed. I have God to thank.
